Andrew & Aki – Riding 109km for Change

We’re joining the 2026 Cape Town Cycle Tour to raise funds for the life-changing work of the Hillsong Africa Foundation (HAF) — empowering individuals and transforming communities across the Western Cape.

Our motivation for riding comes from Aki’s incredible journey.
He first connected with HAF back in 2018 through a sports program in Tafelsig. What began as a small step became the start of something much bigger. Today, Aki helps lead our Agricultural Training Program in Westridge, Mitchell’s Plain, and surrounding areas — helping others grow skills, confidence, and purpose.

It’s been amazing to see how far he’s come — from wondering what his future would look like to now helping others build theirs.

Together, alongside the HAF team, we’re cycling 109km to help create more stories like Aki’s — stories of hope, opportunity, and transformation.

This will be Aki’s first Cycle Tour, and we’re honoured to ride side by side to make a difference.

Every donation, big or small, goes directly toward helping more people experience lasting change through HAF’s community programs.
