This is Norbert, who was part of this year’s Cape Town Cycle Tour to raise funds for the Innovation Hub in Gugulethu! Find out why he decided to join:
“Cycling in general is an unknown world for me. I decided to give the Cycle Tour a try not only to challenge myself but to do it with purpose. It made training and racing more meaningful knowing that the little part that I do can inspire others and also help provide opportunity to the community that we serve.
My highlight was crossing the finish line with my teammates who endured the race with me. I realised that no matter how impossible the task may seem, it can be accomplished with the help and support of others who share the same heart and vision. We were probably on the bike the longest but we still managed to finish the race.”
