Ruth became involved in Hillsong House by volunteering faithfully and gracefully at Tembaletu School for 2 years , before being offered a permanent job at Hillsong House with her amazing skills with children . Ruth helps all the children become responsible in the little things on a daily basis so that one day when they spread their wings and leave Hillsong House they are ready for the responsibility that comes with independence.

Ruth is not just a motherly figure to the kids of the House but a mother too 2 young sons of her own. She has found a Hillsong family who absolutely loves and values her .She has created an environment so amazing that on Fridays the kids of Hillsong house love it so much that they don’t want to go home!
